Nanny Poppinz™ of Arlington Virginia is owned and operated by a mother-daughter team and their staff. As a mother-daughter team, we are passionate about quality childcare. Susan, the mother (and grandmother) knows that it is extremely important for you to feel that your children are in caring, capable hands when you leave your home for your job every day.
Shelly, the daughter half of the team has lived and worked in the DC area for several years. After working as an attorney both on Capitol Hill and for a government agency, she and her husband decided it was time to start a family. “When I had my daughter, I knew I wanted her to be at home, but had no idea how to go about finding a nanny.” Many friends suggested that I “go it alone.” However, I felt this approach was too risky and not the right choice for my family. Additionally, as a first time mom, there was so much new in my world, I really just needed someone to guide me through the process.”
