SERIOUS, PROFESSIONAL LIVE-IN NANNIES ONLY. THIS IS A LONG TERM POSITION. Nanny should be organized, firm, but loving, warm & fuzzy personality. Swimming preferred, but not a deal breaker. Multitask. Travel in US. Pick up kids in family's car. Teenagers come some days/every other weekend, but no childcare needed. Share cooking w/ parents, easy meals. Nanny should be able to follow instructions. Must have nanny experience with toddlers, multiple small kids. Twins are in school 3 days/week. This will increase to 5 days/week. Cleaning will take place during down time. We would like to also have some nights during the week where she is babysitting. we have business dinners or run errands like grocery shop so we have fun time with kids on weekends. Generally we do this after putting kids to bed though or after their dinner. Family is very involved with the care of the kids. Also we want longevity. we need flexibility too. the times may need tweaking week to week sometimes. we plan to offer a credit card for grocery shopping should the need arise or running errands very near the house. Salary may increase once nanny proves herself. The hours are flexible with some start times as late as 9:00-10:00am. Plus when we travel we do pay more on weekends of course and some extra because we are not around to help. Still their is less to do overall in our home when we are traveling. Nightime dishes are also generally ours. Family is not expecting much from the nanny in evenings when they are around.

| Summary: | Salary negotiable re:nanny and duties; bilingual (English/Spanish) more than 5 yrs childcare experience, prefer some college or advanced education in childcare, prefer teaching experience(secondary importance). Teacher certificate not required, but if nanny has tutored, taught, or has had some college, that's fine, or a retired school teacher. I am looking for a nanny more than a tutor, the teaching would be an added bonus but I really don't envision the entire 3 hrs with us each day to be spent in tutoring. Some of it needs to be just fun activites and walking around the neighborhood and playing. Cooking, if the nanny enjoys cooking. Extra hr provided for a nanny who can cook. Nanny will also be needed some weekends and earlier on school holidays. Mature nannies. Salary is negotiable, $12-$14/hr.
